Questions parents ask
How long does it take?
Usually a few hours, sometimes less. The honest wait time is shown at checkout before you save your card, and it comes from how busy Santa's workshop is right then. Each video arrives by email as soon as it's made; you don't wait for all three.
What if my child hasn't written a list yet?
That's the plan. Santa's first video ends by asking them to write one. When they have, photograph it from the link in your email and Santa reads it back in the second video. There's no deadline other than 24 December.
Is it made with AI?
Yes. Santa's face, voice and words are created with AI from the details you give us. He's an original character, not a real person. Your child is never in the video and you never upload a photo of them: the only person on screen is Santa.
When am I charged?
When each video is delivered, and not before. We save your card at checkout and charge £6.67, £6.66 and £6.66 as each of the three videos lands (or £9.99 for a single video). If a video can't be made, you're told first and it's never charged. No subscription, nothing to cancel.
What if a video can't be made?
Occasionally a room photo doesn't work, or something else goes wrong. We tell you straight away, that video is never charged, and your other videos are unaffected. If a delivered video has a mistake in it, we re-make it free.
What do I need to photograph?
Two things, and each has one rule. The letter: photograph the whole thing, creases and all. Your living room: nobody in the photo. That's it. Tidy or not, tree or no tree, daylight or lamps, all fine. We check the room photo for people automatically and delete both photos once the videos are made.
Can my child watch it on their own?
You decide. The videos come to your email as private links. Watch them yourself first, then pick the moment: on your phone, cast to the TV, or forwarded to Grandma. We never show anything to your child directly.
What does the 'Santa was here' video look like?
A few seconds of grainy security-camera footage of Santa in your living room, checking his list and reaching into his sack, and then the camera cuts out. It's deliberately short and deliberately imperfect, because that's what makes it believable. It never shows presents, so nothing in it can clash with Christmas morning.
